Being the only professional to have held senior advisory and executive positions at both IC360 and the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) — the two most prominent betting integrity monitoring organisations in the world — is not a coincidence. It is the product of a career spent at the operational centre of a rapidly evolving industry, accumulating the kind of trust and institutional knowledge that takes decades to build and cannot be replicated.

That career began at William Hill Index, where I was part of a pioneering spread betting operation at a time when the product was genuinely new and the commercial and risk frameworks were being written in real time. From there I was recruited to establish the trading department of the first corporate sports betting operation on the African continent — based in Randburg and backed by Multichoice — building trading infrastructure from the ground up in a frontier market. I was also hired directly by Tony Bloom, pre-Starlizard, to work within his nascent operation — an early indication of the kind of sharp-end, analytically serious environment I was drawn to and trusted within.

At Sportingbet, I was part of the team that pioneered automated in-play derivative markets — the live betting products, real-time pricing engines and dynamic risk frameworks that are now the commercial cornerstone of every major sportsbook in the world. At the time, this was genuinely uncharted territory. The methodologies developed then became industry standard. I was there at the origin.

As elected Chair of the IBIA for three consecutive terms, I sat at the centre of global integrity governance — shaping standards, coordinating intelligence-sharing with regulators and law enforcement, and building working relationships with the IOC, UEFA, the ITIA and dozens of national sports governing bodies. The IBIA is the industry's primary collective integrity voice; I led it through its most consequential period of growth.

As Senior Advisor at IC360 — North America's leading specialist integrity monitoring body — I have worked operationally inside the technology and analytical infrastructure that underpins alert handling, risk framework design, and integrity monitoring across regulated and emerging markets. That work has also brought direct exposure to the early stages of prediction markets: their growth, structural establishment and the governance frameworks required to protect their integrity as they mature into mainstream regulated products.

As Betway Group Director and Global Head of Trading, I carried board-level governance and committee responsibilities across regulated jurisdictions in Europe, North America and Africa, while simultaneously building and directing one of the industry's largest trading operations across 50+ sports.

The result is a professional profile with no direct equivalent: the person who helped pioneer the products that define modern sportsbooks, who has governed the industry's integrity architecture from the top, and who understands — from the inside — how both of the organisations that monitor and protect it actually function.
